Ed Michel On Jiu-Jitsu Training: "I've Got The Blueprint Now"
Training in martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, wrestling, & Muay Thai is my outlet for improving my mental health and becoming a better person.
On this eighteenth episode of the podcast, I talk to Ed Michel. Ed is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, an amateur MMA fighter, a husband, father, and manager of the TR Fitness west plains location. He is one of the most consistent members at the gym where I train.
On this episode, Ed shares about how training in martial arts have improved his life. Ed says that Jiu-Jitsu and MMA training have provided him with a blueprint he can use to be successful anywhere in life. He talks about the community and tribe of mentors that he has developed through training in martial arts.
Ed talks about the importance of consistency and why showing up everyday is so important. Before training in the martial arts, Ed was inconsistent in pursuit of his goals. Training in BJJ and MMA taught Ed how to be consistent and achieve success in anything he sets his mind towards accomplishing.
This is an episode you do NOT want to miss.
