Charlie Vinch Interview - How To Create A Black Belt Mindset

Training in martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, wrestling, & Muay Thai is my outlet for improving my mental health and becoming a better person.

On this thirty-sixth episode of the Jiu-Jitsu Outlet podcast, I talk with Charlie Vinch and hear his story about overcoming serious injuries and getting back to Jiu-Jitsu. Charlie is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and also the creator of the Black Belt Mindset program where he teaches martial artists how to have a strong mind.

On this episode, Charlies shares his story of having multiple surgeries in order to get back to training martial arts. He tells about the years of recovery and hardship he had to endure to make a return to the mats.

Charlie talks about the value in overcoming hardships. He shares what he learned from this and gives some tips and tricks that we can use in our own lives. We discuss some mindset improvements tactics and discuss how these experiences shape our lives.

Charlie and I discuss the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu training and why it is important to persevere over obstacles and keep going no matter what happens in life.
